Hold the phone! How is it that we are already going into August this week? It feels like winter just ended! It seems like the summer months are far too short and all of a sudden we are shoveling again, am I right? Oh well, I hope you take some time this August to bask in a little more summer fun while also getting in some of that all-important networking time as well.
To help simplify where you should head out to network this week, here's your roundup of the Grand Rapids Marketing events you won't want to miss:
The Grand Rapids Business Exchange Meetup
Join this group of savvy business networkers at their monthly meeting over at Olivet Nazarene University on Tuesday from 9-10 AM. You'll get a chance to meet other professionals from the Grand Rapids area as well as hear some short business presentations. Cost is just $2 and they want you to RSVP here.
Local First Book Talk: Small Giants
Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss recently announced the #GRLocalChallenge campaign alongside the book, Small Giants. On Tuesday night, the team at Local First is hosting a book talk to provide the opportunity to meet West Michigan's very own "Small Giants" and exchange dialogue about the book's message and why that message is good for the small businesses of Grand Rapids. Let 'em know you're coming here.
Business Networking and Beers at Creston Brewing
Nothing goes better with networking than beer, right? This unique Grand Rapids networking group will be meeting on Wednesday over at Creston Brewing on Plainfield for beer and business networking. And this week, they want you to be sure to bring a friend! It doesn't need to be a business owner either, they are looking for people of all kinds. It's happening on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and you can let them know you plan to attend right here.
We'll see ya again next week, Grand Rapids Marketing gurus!
